Gastronomy: Trigo

Here we have the fifth drink from Sovina, Trigo (Wheat). As its name indicates it is a wheat beer. It’s based on the Bavarian Weissbier style. It has a light color, a soft but slightly stocky body. If you like beer with lots of foam, this is your drink! Despite the abundant and persistent foam, Wheat is a revitalizing drink.

Sovina’s style is really well marked in this drink. 100% malt and all the ingredients are regional (with 5.8% by volume). Again, no dyes or preservatives are present.

Gastronomy: Stout

Fourthly we have the Stout, the black beer from Sovina. It is unique for several reasons. Like the Dry Stout style, this drink is darker than the previous beers and it has a little caramel flavour, a toasted aroma and a flavor combining coffee, dark chocolate and barley. It’s incomparable.

However, it is a soft drink (4.9% vol.) and unfiltered. Sovina maintains the choice of malt and the absence of dyes and preservatives. It’s irresistible by its uniqueness.

Gastronomy: India Pale Ale

Here's the third drink of the three brewers from of Sovina. It is called India Pale Ale, or IPA just to abbreviate. This drink is history. Why? Because it was created by the British to resist the trip to India. That was how the troops of his majesty killed their thirst.

www.sovina.pt

IPA's color is copper that works well with the white foam. Wouldn’t you like to spend an afternoon in the beach accompanied by this drink? The promise is of immediate freshness. This beer is stronger (6.4% volume) but still 100% of malt, without any artificial ingredients such as coloring agents and preservatives.

Gastronomy: Sovina Munich Helles

Here is another beer by Sovina. It goes by the name of Munich Helles or just Helles. It is yellow/golden and wants to be as valuable to the consumer as gold. Helles’ foam is creamy, white and persistent and it gives the drink an irresistible look.

Aren’t you convinced yet? Don’t forget that the focus of Helles is on the malt. However, it has a slight flavour of hop that serves as equilibrium. Thereby, this beer is more smooth with 5,2% of alcohol. Again, it has no dyes or preservatives and its gas is produced by the yeast.

Gastronomy: Sovina Amber

Here is a traditional beer created by Sovina. With the name of Amber, this drink promises to be moderately strong.

It has an amber / orange color and promises an intense malty flavor. Supposedly, Amber is a recreation of the French craftsman style, and it comes from the part of the French territory that borders with Belgium.

However, all the ingredients used are regional. It is created with 100% malt and has no dyes or preservatives. All gas is natural and is produced by the yeast.

Gastronomy: A beer made in Oporto

Do you know “Sovina”? If not, you should learn more. A “sovino” is someone who is very attached to money or material possessions. However, this beer does not share this description. It´s a handmade drink created by three brewers (Alberto Abreu, Arménio Martins e Pedro Sousa), who chose this name because it was unique and appellative.

This beer is distinguished from the industrial for its quality and for its originality. It is produced with malt and contains no dyes or preservatives.

This company already presented five different recipes: Munich Helles, Amber, Stout, India Pale Ale and Trigo. They all have distinct flavors and promise to impress. However, there are limited editions like Sovina Bock or Sovina Christmas.
