Gastronomy: Cherries of Resende

Described by some as the best in the world, the cherries of Resende are unique for its wonderful flavor and for their great quality, that its fame internationally asserts.

But there is another important thing that distinguishes them: the city of Resende has a specific microclimate, which allows the cherries to be ripen and to be harvested two or three weeks before the remaining cherries in Europe.

Since 2002, Resende performs the Cherry Festival in honor of this fruit, an initiative with increasing success, full of cultural and recreational attractions.

Gastronomia: Cerejas de Resende

Descritas por alguns como as melhores do mundo, as cerejas de Resende são únicas pelo seu sabor maravilhoso e pela sua grande qualidade, que lhe faz valer a fama a nível internacional.

Mas há outra coisa importante que as distingue: a cidade de Resende tem um microclima específico, que permite às cerejas amadurecerem e serem colhidas duas ou três semanas antes das restantes cerejas na Europa.
