In the south of the Douro
River, lies the city of Lamego. Bolas de Lamego (Lamego’s balls) are one of the
traditional delicacies, characterized by its soft mass and diversity of
fillings, such as ham, cod, chicken, mixed meat with wine, garlic and sardines.
The revenue of these balls is already old and to keep the tradition, the town began performing shows of Bolas de Lamego ("Lamego’s balls"). The objective is to promote and raise the awareness of this product.
